A daily set mixes subjects rather than staying with one theme. These three past prompts come from the August 19, 2026 dive; they are examples, not the latest playable set.
Think about both everyday shellfish and less familiar mollusks. A specific animal name is more useful here than a habitat or a broad group.
Switch from animal names to cuisine. Look for a dish rather than an ingredient, and use the dish name you know how to spell.
Now the scope changes to physics. An element, atom or molecule is not the same as a subatomic particle.
Check the date before you start and change your thinking with each prompt. A mixed dive can jump from food to nature to science. For a fair comparison with friends, agree to compare first attempts on the same archived date; replays are useful for practice.
After playing, open the daily answer archive and select the date shown in your result to review that set.

We use the newest date with all seven rounds and an answer list for every question. The actual date is displayed before you start and in your result. It may be earlier than today, depending on archive updates.
Yes, if you play the same dated set. Daily Dive uses the same seven questions in the same order for that date. Agree whether to compare first attempts or practice replays; random themed games can give each player different questions.
Open the answer archive and select the exact date shown in your result. A different day’s reveal contains different prompts and accepted lists. Finish your first attempt before opening the reveal if you want to avoid spoilers.
Your answer is matched to that question’s archived accepted list. Its rarity tier awards 10, 15, 30, 60, 85 or 100 points, up to 700 per game. Each point takes you 10 metres deeper. A correct answer missing from the archive may not be recognized; try another before time runs out.
You can replay the current dated set as often as you like. An unfinished game stays tied to its original date and can be resumed in this browser for up to 12 hours. Its current timer keeps running while you are away.
