FROM THE ANSWER ARCHIVE
The Movies pool extends beyond cinema into characters and music. These past prompts show the range; your next game draws its own random selection. Answer links contain spoilers.
Think of a film title, not another actor or a character he plays. Check the requested relationship before choosing a less familiar title.
Focus on a character name from the named world. A film title, location or actor’s name answers a different question.
Read the award category carefully: a Grammy in another category is not the same award. Use the dated list to check which winners are accepted.
Pay attention to the role asked for: a director, actor, film and character are not interchangeable. Start with an answer you can spell confidently, then think of less obvious work in the same filmography or franchise. A rarer guess only helps if it is in the accepted list.

FAQ
The pool includes movies, TV, music and fictional characters. It follows our broad People & Entertainment category, so a run can also include other entertainment topics.
Every new game randomly selects seven distinct question texts from this category. Questions may return in later games; repeats within one game are excluded.
Follow the noun in the prompt. A movie someone appears in calls for a film title; a character question calls for a character name. Knowing the connection is useful, but the answer still needs to be the kind of name requested.
Letter case does not matter. Short forms and alternate titles are not automatically recognized: they must match an entry in that prompt’s archived list. If a short form is rejected, try the full title or another answer before time runs out.
Your answer is matched to that question’s archived accepted list. Its rarity tier awards 10, 15, 30, 60, 85 or 100 points, up to 700 per game. Each point moves you one block along the game’s imaginary route. A correct answer missing from the archive may not be recognized; try another before time runs out.
You can play as often as you like. Each mode saves its own progress in this browser for up to 12 hours. The current question’s timer keeps running while you are away.
