FROM THE ANSWER ARCHIVE
Krillion Geography tests both place knowledge and the conditions in each prompt. These past questions cover spelling, bodies of water and location. Your next expedition is random; answer links contain spoilers.
Check the first letter of the English country name. A country containing M somewhere else does not meet the same condition.
Focus on lakes rather than seas or rivers. Keep the place name specific so it can match the archived list.
Two conditions matter here: the place must be a capital city and it must be south of the equator. Check both before submitting.
Look for the geographic filter first: a continent, starting letter, body of water or hemisphere. When you know one valid place, work through nearby regions for alternatives. Use the English place name expected by the question; a lesser-known place still needs to be in its accepted list.

FAQ
Our Country / Geography / Places category includes country names, cities, capital cities, islands, rivers and other locations. Follow each question’s specific region or naming rule.
Every new game randomly selects seven distinct question texts from this category. Questions may return in later games; repeats within one game are excluded.
Choose the type of place the prompt asks for. A city, country, island and river are different kinds of answers. Also check any letter, continent or border condition before submitting.
Only when the question permits them and the name matches its accepted list. A sovereign country, dependent territory and historical country are different answers. Do not assume all three qualify for every country question.
Your answer is matched to that question’s archived accepted list. Its rarity tier awards 10, 15, 30, 60, 85 or 100 points, up to 700 per game. Each point moves you 10 kilometres along the game’s imaginary route. A correct answer missing from the archive may not be recognized; try another before time runs out.
You can play as often as you like. Each mode saves its own progress in this browser for up to 12 hours. The current question’s timer keeps running while you are away.
